About me
I really dislike talking about myself, but here goes. I was born during the Carter Administration in Taipei, ROC, coming over to this country in 1984. I grew up in Central NJ, but I now live in Southeastern PA, where the taxes are lower, the politicians less corrupt, and the gun laws are looser. I graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in both History and Political Science. I was also the editor in chief of a campus affairs journal, a member of the marching band, and I shot competitively on the rifle team.
I own several guns, including two Enfields (an Ishapore 2A1 and a No. 4,) an SKS, a Hi-Point 995 carbine (don't knock it if you haven't tried it,) a Remington 870, a Stoeger Condor, a Romanian M69, a Walther P38, a Ruger Mk II, an Armscor M206, and a Ruger GP100. As for guns handled, I frequent gun shows and have been aboard several naval vessels, so I've picked up dozens of different types.
I work for a CRO (Contract Research Organization). Married, with one kid. I root for the Yankees and my beloved Michigan Wolverines. I won't wear red because it's the color of the Boston Red Sox, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and international Bolshevism. I'm good with babies and dogs. I drive a Honda. I don't have a preference in guns in terms of brands, but I'm old school. I prefer a traditional SA/DA to a striker-fired DAO, and I like revolvers. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:30, 18 May 2018 (EDT)
