Michelle Yeoh
Michelle Yeoh is a Malaysian actress who has appeared in such martial arts films as Royal Warriors, The Heroic Trio, Police Story 3: Supercop, Magnificent Warriors and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. She also appeared as Wai Lin in the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, Eleanor Young in 2018's Crazy Rich Asians, as well as Ying Nan in the 2021 MCU film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in addition to her appearance as Captain Philippa Georgiou in the Paramount+ streaming series Star Trek: Discovery. In 2023, Yeoh made history as she became the first actress of Southeast Asian descent to be the recipient of the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 2022 feature film Everything Everywhere All at Once.
