M134 Minigun is an electrically driven six-barreled, 7.62 mm, heavy machine-gun with a high rate of fire (2000 to 6000 rounds per minute). It was first designed by General Electric in 1960, production started in 1962, and the next following year Minigun entered in service. It's feed system is disintegrating cartridge belt or linkless feed; dependent on installation (500 to 5000 round belt).
