The Smith & Wesson Model 29 is a large N-Frame revolver chambered in .44 Magnum. The revolver came in a blued steel version, however, there were limited runs of bright nickel plated guns. These nickel guns are still technically Model 29s, since they are not stainless-steel revolvers. A variant of the Model 29, known as the S&W "Mountain Gun", is a light weight version of the Model 29, that was introduced in the mid-1990s.
