'''The TDI Vector submachine gun can been seen in the following television series and video games used by the following actors:'''
The '''Vector''' is a series of weapons developed by KRISS USA (formerly known as TDI, Transformational Defense Industries). They use diverted recoil in the form of the "Kriss Super V" system, in which an inertia block travels downwards in a recess behind the magwell as the action cycles in an attempt to offset muzzle climb (the fact that it then has to travel back upwards means this actually just creates an odd up-down oscillating motion when firing in auto). The action was patented by French designer Renaud Kerbrat, formerly of [[FN Herstal]], while the polymer outer housing and folding stock of the weapon were designed by [[Magpul]].

There are four main variants marketed: the SMG is the military and LE version with a 5.5 inch barrel and select-fire, while the civilian semi-auto version of the SMG is called the SBR ("short barrel rifle"). For states with SBR bans, the CRB ("carbine") version is available with a 11.5-inch permanent extension to the standard barrel oddly referred to as a "safety extension" in some literature. A "pistol" version with an end cap instead of a stock is also available, the SDP ("Special Duty Pistol" or "Security Detail Pistol"). All civilian models used to have "/SO" ("Special Operations") appended to their designation, though KRISS USA has since given up on doing this.

In 2015, new "Gen II" versions of the original Vector models with redesigned pistol grips and safeties and compatibility with a new 9mm lower were announced. "Enhanced" versions were also made available, but these simply added accessories which could be bought separately, an AR15-style stock adaptor (provided with a Magpul UBR collapsible stock) and an angular shroud for the barrel on the CRB version (which later became standard on the Vector CRB since 2017). Post-2017 models of the Vector (often referred to by KRISS USA as "Gen 2.1") have a stock adaptor integrated into the upper housing, with a KRISS DS150 adjustable stock attached. The "Enhanced" versions of the short-barreled Gen 2.1 models have a 6.5" barrel, a KRISS MK5 modular handguard, and an ambidextrous folding stock. In addition to the original flat black, civilian versions are also available with factory Cerakote coatings in olive drab or flat dark earth. "Alpine White" and "Combat Grey" were later added.

In addition to .45 ACP and 9x19mm, KRISS marketed Vector receiver variants for 9x21mm IMI, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, 10mm Auto, and .22 LR. The latter is called Vector 22, and is only available with black/FDE/Alpine colors. A version of the SDP called the SDP-SB ("Special Duty Pistol - Stabilizing Brace") that was factory-fitted with an SB Tactical™ arm brace was available, but has been discontinued following the ATF ruling on pistol braces in January 2023.

== TDI CRB/SO ==
The '''K10''' is a second-generation redesign with alterations including a vertical charging handle, integral collapsible stock and replaceable magwell for switching between .45 ACP, .40 S&W, and 9mm Parabellum. It was displayed at SHOT Show 2011, but has not been seen since 2013; like a lot of TDI / KRISS projects (MVS shotgun, Disraptor heavy machine gun, KARD, etc) it seems to have been canceled.

KRISS USA Vector Gen II - .45 ACP / 9x19mm Parabellum. Note the new pistol grip, magwell, trigger and 45-degree safety. The Gen II also eliminates the opening above the barrel for the original weapon's optional Surefire weaponlight, since these are no longer manufactured.

KRISS USA Vector SBR Gen 2.1 - .45 ACP / 9x19mm Parabellum. This newer version comes with an integrated AR stock adaptor and a KRISS DS150 stock.

KRISS USA Vector Gen 2.1 - .45 ACP / 9x19mm Parabellum. The SMG version is currently offered in the "Enhanced" configuration by default, which consists of a 6.5" barrel, a KRISS MK5 modular handguard and an ambidextrous folding stock.

The Vector is a series of weapons developed by KRISS USA (formerly known as TDI, Transformational Defense Industries). The action was patented by French designer Renaud Kerbrat, formerly of FN Herstal, while the polymer outer housing and folding stock of the weapon were designed by Magpul.

KRISS K10 with barrel RIS - .45 ACP / 9x19mm Para / .40 S&W. Multicaliber 2011 prototype; note the detachable magazine well, diagonal reversible charging handle, and lack of pins on the receiver. This is a non-NFA weapon, hence it having a safety but not a fire selector.

KRISS K10 - .45 ACP, 2013 prototype

The K10 is a second-generation redesign with alterations including a vertical charging handle, integral collapsible stock and replaceable magwell for switching between .45 ACP, .40 S&W, and 9mm Parabellum. It was displayed at SHOT Show 2011, but has not been seen since 2013; like a lot of TDI / KRISS projects (MVS shotgun, Disraptor heavy machine gun, KARD, etc) it seems to have been canceled.
