About Me

I like guns, otherwise I wouldn't be on this site. I'm not super into guns, but really into movies. I got around 300 DVDs. So maybe as time goes by, I'll be able to make some good contributions to the site.

To-Do List

I already have all of these on DVD, so no biggie if anybody else beats me to some of them.

Pages I'm Working On

Pages Made

Does not include actor pages built and minor contributions

(CURRENT COUNT: 29)

  • Cobra: Screencapped page.
  • Miami Vice: Screencapped page. (More than I care to think about.) Gunman69 screencapped most of season 2 and added a lot of the descriptions for my caps, allowing me more time to do caps for the page.
  • Ronin: Screencapped 90% of page.
  • Thief: Screencapped page.

My Personal Guns

Handguns

My first gun I ever bought. When I decided to purchase a gun, I wanted a 9mm handgun. The only ones I knew about at the time was Beretta and Glock. The only way I would own Glock, is if it is given to me. So I was set on the Beretta. But decided to look around. I had bought some early '90's gun magazines and there was an article on the then new .40 S&W Hi-Power. They gave a brief history on the Hi-Power and I was sold. This is a Captains model with the tangent rear sight. It originally had walnut grips, but I swapped them with Mark III grips to keep the originals looking nice.

My Mark III Hi-Power, this is my favorite of all my guns. The holster is Milt Sparks. Plan on getting my carry permit sometime.

My Para 1911. I originally wanted a Springfield Mil-Spec, but at the time there was only the GI or Mil-Spec stainless around. Grips are Esmeralda.

Beretta 92F the type of gun I would have bought if I hadn't found out about the Hi-Power. This was someones former duty gun. I have since traded this to my Grandma for a Colt Challenger.

Bought this after trading my 92F and having several spare mags and no gun to use them with. Always loved the '90s Italian Inox's.

My Desert Eagle Mark I .357, probably the least favorite of all my handguns. I don't hate it. It has been a good reliable gun, like all my others. Gumnaster45 touched up the pic so it could be used for the site.
The second gun I ever purchased, I was in the market for a blued 586. But this one came up and I had to have it. This is an auction pic. My pic didn't turn out too well. The only changes I've done to it is swap the target stocks for factory combat ones.

Needed a .22 for cheap practice, so traded my beater 92F for this Colt Challenger,
I got interested in the S&W 4505 after searching for 4506 models and seeing a 4505 pop up. It ended up selling for $875 on GB. Stopped in my local gun store to see what they had (hadn't been in there in years) Saw this one for $550, couldn't pass it up.

Rifles

My 10/22 was given to me by my father as a birthday present.

My first rifle, I like the idea of using either .223 or 5.56 mm, while AR's have more accessories. The prices were out of line at the time of purchase. may get one later. But the Mini-14 is fine for me.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing
I was looking for something in a bigger cablier than the .223, so I started searching for something in the .308/7.62. I would have liked to have gotten an M1A, it would have made a nice matching big brother to my Mini-14. But again prices are too high for me right now. My L1A1 is built on a IMBEL receiver.

M60 machine gun & 37mm Smith & Wesson Model 276 Gas Gun

  • In the Casino scene, Frank Castle uses an M60, with a long barreled 37mm grenade launcher mounted underneath(!!!). Talk about making your primary weapon as heavy as possible!. It's not an M203, but some mocked up launcher (see photos).

Regarding the launcher, Its probably a S&W 37mm riot gun or some flare/naval rope launcher, Something like that was used in the Chuck Norris movie Invasion USA to take place of the M203 on M16 rifles.

Acetylene "non" gun

  • Common in movies where they could not use real guns (like in places with noise restrictions, around small children, or close to an actor's head). Also New York City also has draconian anti gun laws, thus these FAKE guns which fire a 'poof' of acetylene flash and smoke are used instead of real blank firing guns in many instances. (Most noticeable in the movie the Siege when used by Denzel Washington). These fake guns look a little similar to major models of handguns (Beretta 92, Glock, M1911) but something about them always looks a little 'off'.
