Ax-108 "Ground Buzzer" surface-defense blaster cannon
So according to "Wookiepedia", this blaster shown below is the "Ax-108 "Ground Buzzer" surface-defense blaster cannon". From my perspective it looks like a .30 caliber machine gun, though wookiepedia does not state any origin. Again: Just my opinion but I think the .30 caliber MG was the origin for this blaster and unless anyone has any contrary evidence or opinions I will update the article to include this. Dudester32 (talk) 12:53, 2 August 2016 (EDT)
- I don't know if that is a .30 Cal MG. I'm looking at this pic from a offical Star Wars handbook and I can't see any resemblence of the MG in question, even after looking at the scene in question again.--SeanWolf (talk) 13:51, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
- I think that was a model miniature shot, so it would unlikely be built on any existing machine gun. --The Mercenary (talk) 19:40, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
Bounty Hunter "Zuckuss" weapon
I've been trying to figure out what weapon the Bounty Hunter "Zuckuss" (Empire Strikes Back) uses. In the screencap below you can see several details but nothing conclusive as to specific model. From what I can see it is a heavily modified bolt-action rifle, possibly a "sporterized" version of an old war rifle such as the SMLE. The magazine looks a bit like a SMLE but not exactly. There also appears to be a semi-auto pistol magazine inserted just in front of the magazine..(probably to make it look beefier). The barrel is shorter than a regular old time war rifle and it has a pistolgrip with the rest of the stock removed. The wooden forward part is also chopped. At the end of the barrel you can see some old fittings, probably for some sort of muzzle brake or flash hider like the one on the Lee-Enfield Jungle Carbine. At first I thought it was a Jungle Carbine or a Lee Enfield Sporter, but the magazine on the movie version is not lined up the same way as the real life weapons. Any guesses? I see where you're coming from with the pics, but I ,personally, can't make out enough features to be sure.--H3nry8adger1982 (talk) 13:11, 2 November 2016 (EDT)H3nry8adger1982
- Here's a better pic of the weapon in question (Called a GRS-1 Snare Rifle) and, while I do see some bits and pieces of a Lee-Enfield, it also seems to be sporting a pistol magazine as well.--SeanWolf (talk) 13:43, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
It almost seems too "flat," if that makes any sense.--H3nry8adger1982 (talk) 15:11, 2 November 2016 (EDT)H3nry8adger1982
I don't think it is an Enfield. The Enfield magazine is removable, that picture makes it seem like it is a fixed box magazine attached to the trigger guard. I've looked at several rifles that had external fixed magazines, but none seem to macth that design just right. I also agree that the rifle seems...thin? Maybe it was a custom hack job with spare metal? --Zombiedrd (talk) 19:15, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
- Sounds logical. Even the trigger looks like a custom job. Dudester32 (talk) 07:20, 3 November 2016 (EDT)
There also looks to be a small pistol magazine in front of the Enfield-esque one.--H3nry8adger1982 (talk) 12:33, 3 November 2016 (EDT)H3nry8adger1982
DLT-20A Pulse Rifle
In The Empire Strikes Back the Assassin Droid and bounty hunter IG-88 is seen holding a DLT-20A rifle.
- Looks like an STG-44 lower, with a barrel shroud off of (complete shot-in-the-dark guess that's almost inevitably wrong) a Sterling). Thoughts? Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 21:33, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
- Too long and big for a Sterling shroud, I'm thinking it's more off a larger machine gun. It's way too perforated for an MG34, looks more like one off a Browning 1919/M37. StanTheMan (talk) 02:52, 3 November 2016 (EDT)
- It does look like a Browning, though the holes are much larger than on the standard. Maybe they did a custom job on an old barrel? Dudester32 (talk) 07:30, 3 November 2016 (EDT)

Relby-V10 Mortar Gun
Used by the Trandoshian bounty hunter Bossk.
Very obviously a Schermuly Multi-Purpose Gun.
I've not posted any of these on the main page due to uncertain copyright. --The Mercenary (talk) 18:24, 3 November 2016 (EDT)
Can the Schermuly Multi-purpous be added to the page as the V10?
Cloud City Security Guards pistol "Relby-k23"
This is just a FIY since it wont make it into the article. The guns carried by the Cloud City guards, (Relby-k23 blaster pistol), are apparently made from "the main housing and pistol grip of a Nemrod brand pneumatic speargun." The barrel looks like it might have come from a target pistol of sorts. The forward sight is visible just behind the flash hider or whatever that thing is supposed to be. Dudester32 (talk) 04:03, 20 November 2016 (EST)
Orrimaarko's Dressilian Projectile Rifle
The article says an unmodified Kar98 was used in the Return of the Jedi, over the years there has been suggestions that that wasn't the case and the rifle was slightly modified by adding a pistol grip. It's hard to see as there was no clear shot of the rifle as the character, Orrimaarko boards the stolen Imperial Shuttle.
--The Mercenary (talk) 13:40, 13 December 2016 (EST)
- Possibly, especially given that the 80s action figure of the character has a Kar98k rifle with a pistol grip. However, later toys just seem to give him a regular rifle without the grip. So it was possibly just added to the toy for an extra grip area. --Clonehunter (talk) 16:57, 13 June 2017 (EDT)
What is this prop called?
On Mark Hamill's Instagram he posted a couple of BTS iamges from Empire showing the grappling hook launcher he uses to attack the AT-AT:
I beleive that this is actually a real weapon (or at least part of one), the wand from a British No. 5 flamethrower. I tried to confirm this by googling the prop, but I don't know what it is called and can find no information about it. I find it hard to believe that nobody has ever noticed what this is (it isn't really disguised, it just has a bit on the muzzle) so I assume that I was just searching with the wrong name. Anybody know what this device is actually called? --commando552 (talk) 20:20, 29 October 2017 (EDT)
Was the real C96 used in ESB?
This article claims that the real C96 was only seen on-screen in New Hope, and that in ESB it is always an MGC replica. It also claims that a deleted scene from ROTJ features the real C96, albeit with the scope mounted backwards and a different scope mount. --Tamarin88 (talk) 16:45, 13 March 2019 (EDT)
