- The Man on the roof/Mannen på Taket. - Swedish crime/action movie from 1976.
- Nicholas and Alexandra - British movie about the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II and his German wife.

- The Water Diviner - "2014 Australian historical fictional war drama film" directed by & starring Russell Crowe.

- Tobruk (1967) - Classic WW2 adventure war movie featuring Rock Hudson, George Peppard and Nigel Green.
