The '''Knight's Armament SR-25''' is a semi-automatic sniper rifle designed by Eugene Stoner and manufactured by Knight's Armament Company. It was adopted by SOCOM in 2000 as the '''Mk 11 Mod 0'''. The Mk 11 Mod 0 system is issued with 20 round box magazines, two QD (Quick Detachable) scope rings that mount a Leupold Mark 4 scope, flip-up BUIS (back up iron sights) mounted on the gas block and receiver, a Harris bipod, and a detachable KAC sound suppressor.

The '''M110 SASS''' (Semi-Automatic Sniper System) is a version of the SR-25 adopted by the US Army and USMC since 2005. It has a flash hider, a fixed buttstock with adjustable buttplate (and new quick-detachable sling swivels to its sides) and uses the URX modular rail system instead of the KAC Free Floated RAS used on the Mk 11 Mod 0 (distinguishable by the different shape of the end of the rail system that connects to the receiver). It is issued with a Harris bipod, a Leupold Mark 4 scope mounted on a single one-piece 30 mm scope mount, and tan paint scheme. In 2020, the Leupold Mark 5HD scope was selected to replace the Leupold Mark 4.

Compared to the similar-looking 5.56x45mm [[M16 rifle series#Mk 12 Special Purpose Rifle|Mk 12 SPR]], the SR-25 uses 7.62x51mm NATO (thus having a different magazine shape) and lacks a forward assist. M110 SASS with Magpul ACS buttstock and AN/PVS-22 Universal Night Sight - 7.62x51mm NATO

The Knight's Armament SR-25 is a semi-automatic sniper rifle designed by Eugene Stoner and manufactured by Knight's Armament Company. It was adopted by SOCOM in 2000 as the Mk 11 Mod 0.

The M110 SASS (Semi-Automatic Sniper System) is a version of the SR-25 adopted by the US Army and USMC since 2005.

Compared to the similar-looking 5.56x45mm Mk 12 SPR, the SR-25 uses 7.62x51mm NATO (thus having a different magazine shape) and lacks a forward assist. Its magazine pattern would be used by the DPMS rifle series, leading to it becoming the defacto standard for 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Winchester rifles based on the AR-15 rifle.
