Captain Phillips

Captain Phillips is a 2013 drama that recounts the events surrounding the hijacking of the Maersk Alabama by Somali pirates in 2009. Tom Hanks stars in the film as Richard Phillips, the captain of the ship who allowed himself to be taken hostage by the hijackers. The film was directed by Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy ).
