Mosin Nagants
The appearance of Mosin Nagants in this film is a curious fact. I have a guess that these rifles belong to Remington and Westinghouse manufactured M1891s. 280,000 rifles (of 1.5 million order) weren't delivered to Russia due to Russian Revolution in 1917 and were taken by US Army and later sold for civil use. It seems to be most probable source of M1891s in 1935 American film. Greg-Z (talk) 05:33, 16 April 2014 (EDT)
- I was surprised too, especially given the setting. --Funkychinaman (talk) 03:28, 17 April 2014 (EDT)

- Whenever I see copies of Khyber Pass copies, they're usually British weapons, unless they're modern Soviet-era weapons like AKs. And I forgot that what was then the North West Frontier is now northern Pakistan, not northern India. --Funkychinaman (talk) 04:53, 17 April 2014 (EDT)
