Zinc Federal L-5 Gas Riot Gun
The only reference found to date is: L-5 "Early Model: Zinc barrel and receiver, only has 50-yard rear sight on breech opening latch"
No information has been found regarding a stainless steel or a nickel-plated L-5.LJ (talk) 14:05, 25 October 2019 (EDT)
Unidentified rifle
I suppose that the unidentified sniper rifle is a Remington Model 700 (Winchester Model 70 is also possible but Remington seems to me a better guess). --Greg-Z (talk) 14:12, 25 October 2019 (EDT)
- Looks like this Model 70 doesn't it? Black Irish Paddy (talk) 15:28, 25 October 2019 (EDT)
- Remington 700 also looks very similar to the screen gun.
But I'm not sure, and maybe your guess is more correct. --Greg-Z (talk) 15:42, 25 October 2019 (EDT)
- It was the sights I was thinking of and should have said so, the stock is absolutely a standard sporter stock but the sights look like a raised front and buckhorn rear like on that Model 70 but there's nothing preventing sights like that being mounted on a Remington 700. It does look closer to the 700 to my eyes, particularly that checkering on the pistol grip, it's just that the sights look like those on that one picture of the Winchester. Winchester Model 1894 vs 1892
I rechecked the Winchester lever action rifles and found these:
These images show the receiver screw pattern of Model 1892. Also the two vertical locking bolts are visible. In other scenes I found similar receiver screw patterns or locking bolts for most of the rifles, but they didn't show up in screenshots. I'm changing all 1894s to 1892s on the assumption that the other rifles are 1892s.LJ (talk) 16:44, 27 October 2019 (EDT)
Western
I was wondering if this film could be added to the Western page? It's labeled as a Western on IMDB.The Cowboy General (talk)
