Morgan Freeman is an American actor who has appeared in such notable films as The Shawshank Redemption, Glory, Se7en, Unforgiven, and 2004's Million Dollar Baby, a role for which he was the recipient of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He also has appeared as Lucius Fox in director Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight feature film trilogy, as Alex Cross for two feature films, and as Nelson Mandela in the 2009 feature film Invictus.
