Special Ops: Lioness is a Paramount+ original streaming series starring Zoe Saldana as Joe, a covert operative who recruits Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira ), a young woman and US Force Recon Marine, into a secret CIA program codenamed "Lioness", in order to take down a terrorist organization from the inside. The series' cast includes Michael Kelly , Morgan Freeman , and Nicole Kidman . The series, which premiered on the streaming service Paramount+ in July of 2023, was created by Taylor Sheridan and several episodes were directed by John Hillcoat .
