Extraction 2 is the 2023 sequel to the film series that began with the 2020 feature Extraction. Sam Hargrave returns as director and Chris Hemsworth returns as the Black Ops mercenary Tyler Rake, who after being presumed dead, returns for yet another high-stakes mission. Anthony and Joe Russo return as producers and the screenplay was written by Joe Russo as the cast includes Golshifteh Farahani, Idris Elba, Olga Kurylenko, and Daniel Bernhardt. The sequel was released on the streaming service Netflix on June 16, 2023.
The following weapons were used in the film Extraction 2:
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) mainly carries an Agency Arms Glock 21 (4th generation) as his sidearm. Modifications include a stippled frame, custom flat face trigger, a milled slide with front serrations and a cut for a Trijicon RMR, a threaded barrel (occasionally fitted with a Rugged suppressor) and a Surefire X300 Ultra weaponlight.
Nik Khan (Golshifteh Farahani) carries as her sidearm a 5th generation Glock 19 pistol which, like Rake's own Glock 21, was customized by Agency Arms.

Note an empty casing has caused a ‘stovepipe’ jam on the Glock as Nik tries to fire it. Also notable is the ambidextrous slide stop lever, indicative of a Gen 5 Glock.
Beretta 90Two
Nagazi mercenaries carry Beretta 90Two pistols in their drop leg holsters, with one of them attempting to use it when wrestling with Rake in the train cabin, dropping next to Sandro.
During the train attack, boarding Nagazi mercenaries carry Heckler & Koch USP pistols in their drop leg holsters and draw them when their primary weapon is disarmed by both Tyler and Nik. Another Nagazi mercenary in Vienna draws a USP.
Yaz Khan (Adam Bessa) carries a SIG-Sauer P320 XFIVE Legion with a mounted red dot sight during the extraction and uses it during the firefight at the Vienna safe house. Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) also uses the P320.
While fighting with a mercenary in the train driver's cabin, Nik Khan (Golshifteh Farahani) appears to reach for a Smith & Wesson Model 40 Centennial revolver from her ankle holster and fires it at the mercenary. It appears this weapon is a replica due to the molded trigger.
AKMS rifles are carried by the majority of the Nagazi mercenaries during the train attack. The firing weapons are actually full-auto converted Hungarian SA-85Ms/AK-63s, though they are sometimes replaced by rubber cast versions for stunt work (one of which is seen clearly, as shown below).
AKS-74U carbines with railed handguards are used by some of the Nagazi mercenaries in Vienna. Zurab picks one up and fires at the extraction team. These might possibly be Arsenal SLR-104URs converted for the film.

Note the straighter angle of the magazine compared to 7.62x39 AKM magazines.
AKM
Some Nagazi mercenaries carry AKM rifles with black furniture and AK-74 style flash hiders. Attached underneath the rifles are underbarrel grenade launchers.
Nagazi mercenaries including Zurab Radiani (Tornike Gogrichiani) carry Arsenal SLR-106CR carbines outfitted in Zenitco furniture with Trijicon red dot optics. Zurab's carbine has an MFT Battlelink Minimalist stock, while the ones used by other mercenaries appear to have standard AK-74M type polyamide stocks.
Three Nagazi mercenaries boarding the train are seen armed with CMMG Mk47 AKS8 rifles fitted with Trijicon MRO red dot sights and the Magpul Gen 2 BUIS. While wrestling with three of the mercenaries in the train cabin, Tyler briefly holds a Mk47 rifle to strike another mercenary.
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) is seen using a custom-made rifle that mainly resembles a Daniel Defense M4V7S with an EOTech EXPS-3, G33 magnifier, AN-PEQ 15 laser module, Modlite weaponlight, BCM Gunfighter vertical grip, a suppressor with a cloth cover, and a Magpul SL stock.
Nik Khan (Golshifteh Farahani) is seen using a carbine that consists of a Daniel Defense MK18 upper receiver mated to a Noveske N4 lower as her primary weapon during extraction and throughout the film. It has been retrofitted with a Daniel Defense MFR XL (M-LOK) rail, is fitted with an EOTech 512 holographic sight with magnifier, foregrip, flashlight, prong flash hider, AN/PEQ-15, QD sling and Magpul SLR stock. Yaz Khan (Adam Bessa) also uses a DD MK18 with an EOTech 551 holographic sight, M-LOK hand guard, prong flash hider, flashlight, foregrip, Magpul SL buttstock and PMAG. Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) picks up and briefly uses a rifle with a similar setup to Nik’s rifle near the end of the movie before losing it. Likely, these are the same weapons used in Mile 22, albeit with different optics/accessories.
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) is seen carrying an AR-10 type rifle identified by ISS (the movie's armorers) as a V Seven Harbinger with a M-LOK handguard, outfitted with a Leupold LPVO optic, Surefire Scout light, BE Meyers MAWL laser module, BCM Gunfighter vertical grip during the shootout in Vienna.
In preparation to face off with Zurab, Tyler grabs weapons and equipment out of weapon crates which includes a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine gun with a Surefire 628 forend and SEF trigger grouping, however he does not pick it up.
A female Nagazi mercenary (Megan Anderson) uses a customized Saiga 12K shotgun with a EOTech 553 holographic sight, AK-74M polyamide folding stock, short barrel and a 20-round drum magazine to fire at Austrian police forces.
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) picks up an FN M240B Machine Gun with a Trijicon ACOG and sling out of a weapons crate and fires it at several mercenary helicopters.
An M249 SAW Paratrooper with a ELCAN Spectre sight is seen carried by a mercenary to take out several police vehicles and later in the apartment building pool room in Austria.
A handheld Dillon Aero M134 Minigun is seen next to a dead extraction team member on top of the train driver cabin which Tyler Rake then picks up to fire at the mercenary helicopter. A Nagazi mercenary on board a helicopter opens fire on Tyler and the team with a mounted Dillon Aero M134 Minigun.
A black Remington 700 AICS is seen used by an Austrian heliborne support sniper to eliminate two Nagazi RPG mercenaries. This may likely be the same rifle used by the films director (Sam Hargrave) from the first film.
Remington 700 AXAICS or Accuracy International AXMC
As the Austrian police helicopter arrives to respond to the Nagazi attacks in Vienna, an Austrian heliborne support sniper is briefly seen wielding and then firing at the first Nagazi mercenary what appears to be a Remington 700 AXAICS or Accuracy International AXMC kind of rifle before changing to a Remington 700 AICS during the rechambering scene then back after eliminating the other RPG mercenary. Because the rifle is only briefly seen from the left side (with the sniper covering the bolt of the rifle) it’s never clear what kind of rifle it is.
Nagazi mercenaries use RPG-7 launchers against the extraction team during the train attack. Zurab Radiani (Tornike Gorichiani) and several mercenaries use RPG-7s in Vienna.
A fake GP series grenade launcher heavily resembling the one used in Deadliest Warrior is seen mounted under the AKM rifles of a few Nagazi mercenaries including Komstantine (Daniel Bernhardt).
Several characters throughout the film including Yaz use M67 hand grenades. A few are also seen in a weapons crate when Tyler picks up the M240 machine gun in the train cart.
A few M84 stun grenades are seen in a weapons crate when Tyler picks up the M240 machine gun in the train cart. Tyler takes a few M84 stun grenades before facing off with Zurab.
