I'm reviewing the (very brief and fast) scene with the M1 carbine and it looks like a post-war modded (bayonet lug) paratrooper M1 carbine. The thing is I can't see the stock. It does not look like it's folded but more like it was removed. The only thing that looks attached to the weapon is the weapon strap. I guess that submachine guns, identified as "Bergman SMG", looks more like Suomi KP/-31. The flamethrower seems to be a Flammenwerfer 35 or Flammenwerfer 41 rathen than M1 as it has one large and one small balloon while M1 has two large and one small. Greg-Z (talk) 17:35, 4 April 2015 (EDT)

Look at the charging handle. It is in the wrong place compared to a KP31. Dudester32 (talk) 17:41, 4 April 2015 (EDT)

Also look at the muzzle....
It looks more like a PPD40 (minus the drum magazine).

Note the german version does not have a back and front grip. Dudester32 (talk) 17:49, 4 April 2015 (EDT)
I'm fairly sure it's an M2, it's just the angle he's standing at that makes the second large tank look like it's not there in the top image; you can still see the side of the left tank below the middle one. In the one below you can see there's a full-size tank on the left, too. Evil Tim (talk) 18:15, 4 April 2015 (EDT)

BTW, I think the tank is an M48. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:17, 4 April 2015 (EDT)

Yeah, it's the original production M48, before they added that little mini-turret on top of the commander's hatch and redesigned the backplate. Evil Tim (talk) 22:44, 4 April 2015 (EDT)
