Love on the Run is an American romantic comedy that finds a socialite (Joan Crawford) running away from her wedding and into international intrigue with two newspapermen (Clark Gable and Franchot Tone) fighting to cover her story.
The following weapons were used in the film Red Dust:
Handguns
Webley RIC "New Model"
The eccentric Fontainbleau Palace caretaker (Donald Meek) keeps a double-action Webley RIC "New Model" revolver in his desk and often practices the inadvisable habit of dry-firing it against his temple to confirm that it isn't loaded.
Walther Model 8
Baron Otto Spandermann (Reginald Owen) carries a blued semi-automatic pistol that appears to be a Walther Model 8.
Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket
Baroness Hilda Spandermann (Mona Barrie) carries a nickel Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket with white pearl grips.
Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless
Later, Baroness Hilda Spandermann (Mona Barrie) carries a nickel Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless with black grips, which Mike (Clark Gable) takes away from her.
Luger P08
The Baroness' accomplice carries a Luger P08.
Colt Police Positive
One of the Baron and Baroness' accomplices, a "butler", carries a smaller-framed revolver that appears to be a Colt Police Positive.
