The story takes place in 1919 and portrays the Australian Joshua Connor (Crowe) in his search for his three sons who was killed at Gallipolli, Turkey in 1915. As the story progresses Crowe gets involved with the Greek-Turkish war of 1919-1922. Also starring Olga Kurylenko, Jai Courtney, Cem Yilmaz and Yilmaz Erdogan.
