The M60 is a heavy, clunky, shitty piece of crap that will, if it does not jam on you, explode in your face by the rough conditions of a weathered combat scenario. [[Image:Colt M1911.jpg|500px|thumb|none|My Colt M1911 'YT385' airsoft pistol. This one is my personal favorite out of my current airsoft armory, since it perfectly mimics the layout of the original M1911 that was manufactured from 1911-1921(24?), and I will soon replace the orange barrel with a metal one and black out the 'Made in China' logo. Don't ask me who the manufacturer is, because the box it came in did not describe a company name at all.]]
[[Image:Mauser C-96.jpg|500px|thumb|none|My Mauser C96/CM712 airsoft pistol. This one, like my Colt M1911, is made out of an all-metal construction, and yes, the 'broomhandle' grip is made of ACTUAL WOOD. I thought it was plastic when I first opened the box, but to my surprise, the grips are made out of actual wood. Or rather, synthetic wood that perfectly resembles real wood. I took the orange plug off the end of the barrel for display purposes when I took this photo. This gun is manufactured by UK Arms.]]
[[Image:AMT Hardballer.jpg|500px|thumb|none|My AMT Hardballer airsoft pistol, it is modeled after the Longslide version of the M1911. However, unlike the last 2 airsoft pistols, this one is an all-plastic construction, nothing really fancy about it, but surprisingly, it has lasted me for 2 years when I bought it back in 2008. Despite all the wear and tear on the gun I might have caused to it, it still functions properly. One odd thing about this airsoft gun, is that there are trademarks on the side that claims it's a Longslide model chambered in 9x19mm... but the real-life AMT Hardballer Longslides are not chambered in 9mm... are they?]]
[[Image:Walther PPK.jpg|500px|thumb|none|My Walther PPK/S airsoft gun. This one, unlike the previous 3, is a CO2 gas-powered version that is manufactured by Umarex U.S.A. It's a very good airsoft pistol, but I wish that Umarex didn't have to add that unnecessary twisting wrench built into the gun to tighten the CO2 canisters when you gas up this gun. Because it just makes it look a little bit too ugly. But in any case, this is a good airsoft handgun. But I would suggest getting a different Walther PPK pistol instead of this one if you dont want that ugly twisting wrench on the bottom.]]

People who say that "guns kill people" (Are you serious? Saying that a machine kills people is just as ignorant as saying that a pencil will make spelling errors. A gun '''''WON'T''''' kill a person unless someone picks it up, disengages the safety, and fires it. Just like a pencil won't make spelling errors unless someone picks up the damn pencil and writes with it.)

I guess to start this off, my name is Josh, and I hail from the hot and sunny state of California. Yeah, yeah, I know... One of the most pro-liberal states in the union with crazy wildfires, shit weather, restrictive gun laws, and will supposedly fall into the ocean and join Hawaii in 2012...
Ok, ok, now that I got those god-awful jokes out of my system, I guess I will tell you more about myself...
I am your average-joe Southern California resident who happens to be a gun-lover. I first discovered this site in the winter of 2009 when I was searching for what kind of handgun the Joker used in the film The Dark Knight, and after a time of some anonymous editing of a few pages and picture captions, I decided to create an account here on IMFDB for the hell of it. I enjoy this site and I think it has one of the best insights as to what kinds of firearms were used in movies.
I currently do not own any firearms, but I have handled and fired several different firearms throughout most of my life (from simple hunting rifles to modern handguns). I am also an airsofter and I currently own 6 airsoft firearms; a shotgun and 5 pistols.
I guess the only things left for me to say is that most of the time, I am a fun-loving guy and I don't mind making new friends or having friendly discussions or debates about guns or movies. I will stick around this site for a bit and help out on the articles that need work where it is needed. Other than that, feel free to hit me up on any questions or discussions that you guys want to have with me.
Pages that I have worked on/edited
Batman: Gotham Knight - The page looked very good, I commend whoever got the good screenshots from the film, the only thing it was lacking was some picture captions that were relevant to the film, so I took the liberty to add some back when I was an anonymous editor.
The Boondocks - I took the liberty to add some additional captions to the page's images.
Hot Fuzz - I added some picture captions to that page back when I was an anonymous editor. Although they have probably been removed by now if people think I was 'insulting' the actors with my picture captions. Which I wasn't to begin with... oh well...
Friday - The picture captions were kind of half-assed and they did not give a thorough description, especially on two pictures that were about 2 firearms that were shown to appear in the movie. So I took the liberty to fix up the picture captions. And thanks to User:Predator20 for adding in a movie poster!
High School of the Dead - There were a few lacking pictures in the firearms descriptions, and I decided to edit some of the picture captions so that they would be relevant to the images.
Zombies of Mass Destruction - Whoever created the page, I commend you. But could you have done a better job on the screencaps?
Left 4 Dead - Did a few minor edits here and there
Left 4 Dead 2 - Did some minor edits here and there on this page too.
Independence Day - Don't bring in reality when you watch this movie. Think of it as a modern (for the 90s) reimagining of the film 'Earth V.S. The Flying Saucers and 'The War of the Worlds', just without sharing the same titles
Black Hawk Down - Second best war film behind Saving Private Ryan
Cloverfield - If you are gonna watch this movie, watch it on a smaller screen, not a huge screen. Especially if you get dizzy from fast, first-person motion in a movie
Batman Begins - Batman needed a necessary reboot after the colossal failure
Land of the Dead - Goddamn it George Romero, why did you have to make your zombies in this movie learning to get smarter? That just takes away the realism that the first 3 films had! (Aside from that one zombie in the 3rd film learning how to use firearms)
Diary of the Dead - Thank you for going back to basics with this one George.
Survival of the Dead - Pretty good sequel to the other most recent one you made, but it's not exactly worthy of the title 'one of the greatest movie sequel of all time'
Army of Darkness - Eh... I think this one is like how Spider-Man 3 turned out. Wimping out to go a little mainstream and straying away from what the first 2 films capitalized on and made so popular
28 Days Later - Ok, this one was a decent update to the zombie genre
28 Weeks Later - Pretty good sequel, but nothing special in the eyes of some people
Zombies of Mass Destruction - Pretty good independent horrorfest film, why isn't there a page on this site about the film?!
Zombieland - Wow, pretty damn good Hollywood! I am impressed that you made a good and decent zombie film!
Avatar - It was pretty damn good, especially the visuals, but as far as the story is concerned? Nothing too original in it
Tomb Raider - Yeah yeah, I like this movie. At least it's more better than the other shit videogame movie adaptations of late!
Goldeneye - Most awesome James Bond film of all time
Heat - Epic bank robbery scene + shootout in the middle of a city street with no film soundtrack in the background, only the sound of constant assault rifle sounds = EPIC SHOOTOUT in film history.
The Wild Bunch - DAMN... Talk about a glorified, bullet-spitting shootout fest! And to think, when this originally came out, they were gonna rate it 'X', but they toned it down to the 'R' rating. But even when they did the theatrical re-release in the 90s, the MPAA was threatening it with an 'NC-17' rating! Now that is epic
Watchmen - Perhaps the closest that Hollywood will ever get to nailing down a good adaptation of Alan Moore's greatest comic epics.
Lock 'n Load With R. Lee Ermey - Probably one of the best TV shows where the host is a former U.S. Marines gunnery sergeant (and won almost every medal in the book).
Future Weapons - Watching the next generation of weapons in action it pretty cool.
Black Lagoon - A pretty funny gunslinging anime where the whole attitude of the show fits the overall page description that is here on the site.
High School of the Dead - Eh, this show is pretty good for it's zombie theme, but did there have to be SO MUCH fanservice?
Band of Brothers - This was such a good TV series about World War II.
Favorite Videogames
Left 4 Dead - What the videogame adaptation of the film 28 Days Later would be like
Left 4 Dead 2 - Very good sequel to the previous game
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - A very well done videogame about a possible war happening in our time, and it FINALLY took players out of the World War II setting (Not that it's a bad thing, but it was getting old after awhile)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Awesome sequel! And it's a videogame that deals with that hypothetical war that could happen one day between the United States and Russia
Call of Duty: Black Ops - Wow, this one was pretty damn good. Maybe not as great as MW2, but it is still a great game

Things I generally cannot stand
Liberals (mainly the anti-gun ones)
Activists of ANY KIND
Extremists of ANY KIND
Anything or Anyone who denounces guns as "the root of all evils" and wants or campaigns for them to be "banned"
PETA
Ignorance of ANY KIND (Whether or not it occurs online or offline)
Anti-hunting campaigners
Anti-Americans of ANY KIND (More specifically, the MANY, and I mean MANY people who were not even born here yet they come into this county only to cheat the system and talk about how much they hate America and how it sucks. You know, if you don't like this country, then move the fuck out of here if it doesn't suit your best interests.)
Anyone who frowns upon airsoft guns being 'children's toys', and telling airsofters to 'grow up and buy a real gun'. (NEWSFLASH MORONS: Airsoft comes close to mimicking the real deal! So much that now the United States Military and Law Enforcement here trains with airsoft FIRST before handling, using, and firing the real deal. So if you are gonna go out of your way to tell me to 'grow up and get a real gun, airsoft noob', then it is YOU who needs to grow the fuck up and get your facts straight.)
People who say that "guns kill people" (Are you serious? Saying that a machine kills people is just as ignorant as saying that a pencil will make spelling errors. A gun WON'T kill a person unless someone picks it up, disengages the safety, and fires it. Just like a pencil won't make spelling errors unless someone picks up the damn pencil and writes with it.)
