==Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1==
[[File:Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1.jpg|thumb|right|350px|Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1 - .45 ACP]]
Sprinfield Armory manufactures a range of custom pistols that are handmade to exacting standards and are sold under the "Sprinfield Custom" marquee. The flagship pistol in this range is the '''Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1''', which is essentially the handmade and tuned equivalent of [[Springfield Armory TRP]]. It can be differentiated from the TRP by its lack of front slide serrations and the distinctive "SPRINGFIELD ''Custom''" markings on the slide. The Springfield Professional was originally released in 1998 at the request of the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team. The Custom Professional is entirely hand-fitted and hand-checkered by the Springfield Armory Custom Shop, and is equipped with a fully throated National Match barrel and bushing, a polished feed ramp, a fitted speed trigger, a low-mount Novak rear sight and a dovetailed front counterpart, and both sights contain tritium inserts.

Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1
Sprinfield Armory manufactures a range of custom pistols that are handmade to exacting standards and are sold under the "Sprinfield Custom" marquee. The flagship pistol in this range is the Springfield Custom Professional 1911-A1, which is essentially the handmade and tuned equivalent of Springfield Armory TRP. It can be differentiated from the TRP by its lack of front slide serrations and the distinctive "SPRINGFIELD Custom" markings on the slide.
