James Caan is an American actor well known for his tough guy roles in film and televison including such characters as Sonny Corleone in ''[[The Godfather]]'' and Ed Deline in the series ''Las Vegas''.  He is also the father of actor [[Scott Caan]].

He was eighty-two at the time of his death.
