== C96 == | |||
In the scene where Bond is waiting for his first meeting with Osato (when Osato is arriving by helicopter), he's being monitored from a device in the ceiling which provides a remote operator with a video feed and--surprise!--a C96 mounted upside down. It's a very brief clip with terrible lighting, but the profile of that broomhandle is unmistakable. Plus, the gun is definitely the focus of the clip. I'll have to buy a copy of the movie this weekend to get a screencap that doesn't have a network bug watermark on it. --[[User:King Rhoton]] 0:30, 13 March 2013 (PDT) | |||

Colt New Service
Is this Colt New Service missing the ejection rod or is it just me? --Funkychinaman 12:12, 13 October 2011 (CDT)
It is missing the ejector rod knob. I had to replace the knob on one of my New Services;in fact Lock-tite was needed as the threads were stripped. You've got a good eye. All the times I've watched YOLT,including the theatrical release,I never noticed that.

Unidentified rifle
First one looks like a Thompson M1921A submachine gun.
Second one looks like a Thompson M1921AC or M1928 loaded with a 20-round magazine.
In the same picture the ninja second from the left seems to have a Thompson M1A1.
Fourth one looks like a Thompson M1928A1 submachine gun.

C96
In the scene where Bond is waiting for his first meeting with Osato (when Osato is arriving by helicopter), he's being monitored from a device in the ceiling which provides a remote operator with a video feed and--surprise!--a C96 mounted upside down. It's a very brief clip with terrible lighting, but the profile of that broomhandle is unmistakable. Plus, the gun is definitely the focus of the clip. I'll have to buy a copy of the movie this weekend to get a screencap that doesn't have a network bug watermark on it. --User:King Rhoton 0:30, 13 March 2013 (PDT)
Unknown SMG, possibly MAT-49
Hey all! I've added an entry for unknown SMG. I believe its a MAT-49 but I'm not 100% sure. Note the sling is attached very far forward of the weapon near the muzzle, just like a MAT-49.

Sten Mk.III rather than Sterling?
In this scene below a Ninja is killed with what is described in the article as a Sterling.
The magazine is straight however, and the sterling uses curved magazines. The weapon might be a Sten Mk.III:
