The '''Franchi PA3''' is a compact pump-action shotgun manufactured by Italian firearms company [[Franchi]] from 1983 until 2002. Based on the [[Franchi SPAS-12]], the Franchi PA3 series includes at least three shotguns that differ from each other only in barrel length: the PA3/215, the PA3/345 and the PA3/470. The manufacturer opted for further simplification of the weapon, which increased reliability and ease of maintenance, as well as significantly reducing the weight, abandoning the self-loading mechanism and leaving only the pump-action one. All variants are chambered in 12 gauge. The PA3/215 can be fitted with a SPAS-12-type folding stock and a vertical foregrip, has a chrome bore, and has the muzzle threaded to take SPAS-12-type accessories.
The Franchi PA3/345 variant was used by the ''Nucleo Operativo Centrale di Sicurezza'' (NOCS) (English: Central Security Operations Service), the police tactical unit of the ''Polizia di Stato'' (English: State Police), one of Italy's national police forces.

The Franchi PA3 is a compact pump-action shotgun manufactured by Italian firearms company Franchi from 1983 until 2002. Based on the Franchi SPAS-12, the Franchi PA3 series includes at least three shotguns that differ from each other only in barrel length: the PA3/215, the PA3/345 and the PA3/470.
The Franchi PA3/345 variant was used by the Nucleo Operativo Centrale di Sicurezza (NOCS) (English: Central Security Operations Service), the police tactical unit of the Polizia di Stato (English: State Police), one of Italy's national police forces.
