The '''Manurhin MR-73''' is a French solid-frame, swing out cylinder, double-action revolver. The barrel is cold-hammered forged, which is unusual for a revolver, and makes for a very strong and high quality weapon. It also makes for a more expensive weapon. There is the usual flat mainspring operating the hammer, but there is a separate flatspring controlling the trigger. This second spring operates on a roller to decrease friction, moves the trigger forward after firing, and moves up the safety block to prevent the hammer's nose from inadvertently setting off a round. The end result is a very smooth and consistent trigger which aids the shooter tremendously; also making for a very accurate revolver. The MR-73 is also capable of shooting 9mm Parabellum by exchanging cylinders. The MR-73 to this day is utilized by the French GIGN and RAID. They are fairly scarce in the United States. As of 2021, Beretta USA is in charge of importing them to the US.

Manurhin MR-73 "Sniper" with 8" barrel, adjustable sights, scope, and bipod - .357 Magnum

The Manurhin MR-73 is a French solid-frame, swing out cylinder, double-action revolver.
