Let Sleeping Cops Lie (Ne réveillez pas un flic qui dort ) is a 1988 French crime movie directed by José Pinheiro and starring Alain Delon as police commissaire Eugène Grindel. Grindel's opponent is his colleague, commissaire Roger Scatti (Michel Serrault ) who secretly arranged the ultra-right wing organization among the police. This organization called "Loyalty to the police" was similar to South American death squads. Grindel with several assistants faced with a situation where any police officer could become an enemy... (Note: this isn't a spoiler because the opening scenes of the movie shows Scatti and his death squad at work ).

Police officer Lutz (Xavier Deluc ), one of Scatti's men, is armed with Ruger Security Six revolver. This is historically correct because Ruger Security Six was one of the service revolvers of the French police.

Star Model BM
