American Psycho

This is the Internet Movie Firearms Database. We do not put nail guns down in movie entries. Sorry. -MT2008 22:32, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Again, key word: FIREARMS. Not "weapons". We only document real guns in movies, or fictional weapons that were built from real guns as a base. Chainsaws and nail guns do not count. -MT2008 22:50, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Fine, fine. Whatever you say.

Thank you. Sorry about this, but rules are rules. -MT2008 23:20, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Nail guns are improvised weapons, since they are a recognized hardware tool for construction (like a Jack hammer or power drill) we don't recognize them as a weapon listing. Also, no person would come onto IMFDB to figure out what a Nail gun was, or which make or model the nail gun was in a certain movie. As for improvised weapons, Personally I was against the Molotov Cocktail, but I was overruled, since I am against all listings of 'improvised weapons', but fortunately that is exception that I can live with. Now if a pneumatic nail gun was used in dozens and dozens of movies, then a user "might" be curious enough to see which movies used such a device. I remember a killer using a nail gun in the 1980s remake of DOA (with Dennis Quaid), but it defeats the purpose of IMFDB for now. regards MoviePropMaster2008 21:20, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
