I am a male Firearms Enthusiast from Canada. My passion for firearms ,I believe, was inculcated in me by by father who was a Firearms enthusiast and had a small collection of firearms. I have no "professional" experience (by that I mean I do not work in any industry related to firearms) with firearms but I am still able to identify them, their caliber and many other details visually (due to the large amount of time I spent on this website). I do not currently own any firearms and am studying to be a surgeon as my father was before me and his father before him. One of the main things I need to work on is the internal firing mechanisms of firearms as I do not know much about them. All in all, I am fairly confident in my ability to identify firearms but would like to learn ore about how they function.
