I have started to collect 99s and have a dilemma. I bought a 99 made in 1920 that has a faint barrel stamping that says 22HP. However, it is a 25-35. I know this because a gunsmith slugged it and test fired a 25-35 round. How can I find out if #226648 was made as a 22HP and converted to the 25-35the
