|
Unfinished Supper (original Russian title Nezakonchennyy uzhin, Latvian title Nepabeigtas vakarinas) is a Soviet Latvian 1981 (filmed 1979) made for TV detective movie, directed by Janis Streics and based on the Swedish novel "Polis, polis, potatismos!" (English title "Murder at the Savoy") by Per Wahloo and Maj Sjowall. Viktor Palmgren, a director of large company, is shot in front of a dozen witnesses in restaurant. The murderer confesses and is arrested, but further investigation leads Commissioner Martin Beck to Palmgren's shadow business in illegal arms trade.
The following weapons were used in the film Unfinished Supper (Nezakonchennyy uzhin):
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
A Nagant M1895 revolver, fitted with obviously fake sound suppressor, is used by Bertil Svensson (Edgar Liepins) to shot businessman Viktor Palmgren (Arturs Dimiters). Following the original novel, the revolver is described as "Arminius-22".
