Turner & Hooch
Turner & Hooch is a 1989 action comedy starring Tom Hanks as Scott Turner, a lonely police investigator in a small Northern California town who finds himself taking in "Hooch", the pet dog of a fellow investigator who was murdered. As he adjusts to living with Hooch, Turner continues to look for the killer of his owner. The film was released only three months after the similarly plotted James Belushi-starring film K-9 and the story would continue in a Disney + original streaming series of the same name, which premiered in July of 2021.
