The Ultimate Weapon is a 1998 Canadian action movie directed by Jon Cassar. Ben 'Hardball' Cutter (Hulk Hogan), a seasoned mercenary, is hired for a mission against gunrunners. Together with Vince Dean (Carl Marotte), a son of Cutter's late friend, he successfully completes the mission but finds out that he is double-crossed, and his employers are members of a terrorist group who want the guns for themselves. Angered, Cutter destroys the weapon depot. Then the terrorists under the command of McBride (Daniel Pilon) start the hunt for Cutter and his family.
The following weapons were used in the film The Ultimate Weapon:
Cutter's (Hulk Hogan) personal handgun is an M1911-style pistol with long slide and target sights. A possible guess is a Rock Island Armory M1911 Match pistol with 6" barrel.
Strayer-Voigt 1911 pistol
Vince Dean's (Carl Marotte) personal handgun is an M1911-style pistol, fitted with barrel weight and target sights. In the climactic scene he gives it to Lorrie (Lynne Adams) who in turn passes the pistol to Mary Kate (Cynthia Preston). The gun appears to be customized Strayer-Voigt 1911 pistol.
Glock 17
Glock 17 pistols are widely used by McBride's henchmen, including Roarke (Michael D'Amico) and Ryan (David Nerman). Dylan McBride (Daniel Pilon) himself also uses a Glock in several scenes. 'Top' Drummond (Vlasta Vrana) hides a Glock in cigars box.
Taurus PT92
Taurus PT92 pistols are seen in hands of 'Top' Drummond (Vlasta Vrana) and several minor characters.
Several gunrunners are armed with Mini Uzi SMGs. An Uzi is also seen in hands of "Colonel" Roarke's man.
Intratec TEC-9
One of Roarke's men is armed with an Intratec TEC-9, fitted with barrel extention.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
An Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW is seen among the weapons in the gun depot. In the scene in McBride's villa two of the bodyguards are armed with MP5Ks.
Shotguns
Maverick Model 88
Maverick Model 88 shotguns are used by gunrunners and McBride's bodyguards.
Remington 870
Several of McBride's henchmen carry sawed-off pump action shotguns. Remington 870 seems to be a good guess.
Rifles and Assault Rifles
Ruger Mini-14
Both Cutter (Hulk Hogan) and Dean (Carl Marotte) carry stainless steel Ruger Mini-14 rifles with folding stocks during the attack on gunrunners base. In the same scene several of the bad guys use standard Mini-14s.
Unidentified sniper rifle
During the climactic shootout Vince Dean (Carl Marotte) uses a bolt action sniper rifle.
M16/SP1
M16/SP1 assault rifles are used by soldiers that pursue Cutter in the flashback scene. Numerous M16s are seen during the attack on the gunrunners base. Some are fitted with A2 handguards.
During the attack on the gunrunners base one of the bad guys carries an M16/SP1 with a Cobray 37mm Launcher. Cutter (Hulk Hogan) disarms him and uses the weapon himself.
Manurhin MR35 Punch
Cutter (Hulk Hogan) uses a grenade launcher to destroy the weapon depot. It is fed with a five-round strip that moves across the barrel from right to left, like old Harmonica guns or more modern experimental T148E1 grenade launcher. The launcher appears to be French less-than-lethal riot gun Manurhin MR35 Punch.
Unidentfied hand grenade
During the attack on gunrunners base Cutter (Hulk Hogan) and Dean (Carl Marotte) carry hand grenades. Due to the bright aluminium cases, they appear to be some non-military devices. The grenades aren't used in action.
M72 LAW
M72 LAW rocket launchers are seen among the weapons in the depot.
