The Lanfier Colony Kolonie Lanfieri , original Russian title Koloniya Lanfier ) is a Czech-Soviet 1969 adventure movie, directed by Jan Schmidt and based on the story by Aleksandr Grin. Horn (Juozas Budraitis ), a lone man tired of civilization, settles on a remote island. He wants to live far away from local people, but when Horn finds a gold field, his plans drastically change.
