The Commuter is a 2018 thriller starring Liam Neeson as Michael MacCauley, an insurance salesman and former police detective whose daily commute on a passenger train is interrupted by a woman who offers him a substantial amount of money to find a person who "doesn't belong" on the train. The film was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who marks his fourth collaboration with Neeson, which includes 2011's Unknown, 2015's Run All Night, and 2016's Non-Stop.
