The Big Empty is 2003 comedy mystery film written and directed by Steve Anderson. The film stars Jon Favreau as an impoverished actor who takes a job delivering a mysterious suitcase he cannot open to a small town in the California desert. When he arrives, he encounters several strange characters and becomes embroiled with the bizarre events occurring in the empty desert.
