Talk:Wild Zero
The firearms used in the 2000 Japanese "Jet rock 'n' roll" movie Wild Zero, starring the legendary Japanese punk rock band Guitar Wolf, include the following...
Smith & Wesson Model 29
Groupe of Wolf's (Guitar Wolf, Drum Wolf and Bass Wolf) as well, as Captain (Makoto Inamiya) uses the Smith & Wesson Model 29 revolvers throughout the movie.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
One mobster uses the Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolver.
Unknown revolver
Toshi (Yoshiyuki Morishita) can be seen holds the unknown revolver.
- This appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 10HB. --Funkychinaman (talk) 07:10, 6 February 2015 (EST)
M1911A1
Yamazaki (Haruka Nakajo) carries the M1911A1 pistol throughout the movie.
M79 grenade launcher
Captain (Makoto Inamiya) uses the M79 grenade launcher at the film climax.
Heckler & Koch G3
On the Yamazaki's base we can see a lot of Heckler & Koch G3 rifles. Toshi (Yoshiyuki Morishita) holds one.
Some more guns
Some more guns are seen but they are hard to be identified. Greg-Z (talk) 13:58, 6 February 2015 (EST)
- I'm guessing the MG is an M60. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:07, 6 February 2015 (EST)
- The bipod is really M60-style but it seems to me that a magazine is seen below the MG. A bipod similar to the one of M60 is used on Taiwanese (Republic of China) T75 Light Machine Gun that is belt-fed or magazine-fed. Can it be this machine gun? Don't know if it can appear in Japanese movie but if all guns (as usual in Japanese movies) are blank-firing copies, a copy of this machine gun also can be used. Or my guess it too complicated... - I thought that was just some sort of belt guide seen on some M60s. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:36, 6 February 2015 (EST)
