I saw the trailer. Not sure what they could hit that would stop a freaking train. --redram355 22:30, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know... maybe a few dozen .50 BMG rounds through the front end to kill the engine? I doubt it would outright derail it, just knock out the power and start it coasting, at which point all you have to do is let gravity and frictions slow it down. Mind you that wouldn't be the quickest solution, as you still need to position a .50 cal HMG to fire on the train and then plenty of room for it to gradually coast to a stop, both of which would take time. There would still be tons of room for something to go wrong.
- I did a little looking and found out that most train brakes come on automatically if pressure is lost. I suppose they were aiming at the air lines. --24.13.126.32 15:32, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
Does this qualify?
Despite being a major motion picture starring people we all know and recognize. Is it eligible? Think about it. Must have more than one REAL firearm (type) and that must be important enough for people to wonder what it is. I suppose for the sake of completion of ALL movies that have M16 variants in it, this counts, but it is on the very razor's edge of compliance. Thoughts? :D MoviePropMaster2008 (talk) 16:29, 8 April 2013 (EDT)
- It seems to fit the allowable exceptions. The cops DID try to stop the train this way, thus it drove the plot forward. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:56, 8 April 2013 (EDT)
