Not all mock-up pistols is IZh-18
Maybe, I'm wrong, but it's seems, that at least one of the mocked-up pistols isn't IZh-18 (or IZh-17), or maybe mocked-up more quality, than other fake pistols. Also (crazy guess, but still possible) this pistol is similar (maybe, only for me) to genuine Belgian E.I.C. flintlock pistol. I know, that it's very unlikely, that Belgian pistol appears in Soviet movie, but it's teoreticaly hase a little chanse. Also, is this gun fired onscreen or, may it can be seen from different side or angle? Pyramid Silent (talk) 11:57, 25 October 2017 (EDT)
- Thanks, it looks possible. I'm re-watch this scene, but a day later, currently i'm not on my computer. Greg-Z (talk) 13:56, 25 October 2017 (EDT)
- I think that you are right, this is a genuine Belgian EIC pistol. Don't know what was the way of this gun to the film studio, but possibly it was an exhibit in some private collection that was later requisitioned. Greg-Z (talk) 09:26, 27 October 2017 (EDT)
- Also, (It's only my guess and it absolutely couldn't be proved), several mocked up muskets with a fake muzzle "Rastrub" were mocked up as blunderbuss not as musket.

I didn't watch this movie, so I can't say anything more. Pyramid Silent (talk) 10:38, 27 October 2017 (EDT)
- I don't think that it resembles a blanderbuss. The widened muzzle more likely imitates a real feature of some muskets. It allows to load the gun more quick, throwing the bullet into the barrel, in unstable conditions, like on the deck of a ship. 07:53, 28 October 2017 (EDT)
One more strange pistol
Maybe, it's just optical illusion. Is this guns seen at other angle? Pyramid Silent (talk) 16:46, 27 October 2017 (EDT)
