"Official" NYPD handguns
The New York City Police Department does not issue handguns. Officers purchase their handguns. As of 2009 the three models that the officers can purchase for duty are the Glock 19, Sig Sauer P226 DAO and the Smith & Wesson 5946. Jcordell
"Blued Model 60 with 3" barrel?
How can this be proven? Over the decades since the Model 36 Chief Special was introduced by S&W they made the little Chief Special with the 3" barrel.
