Funny looking revolver
A dying Lt. Wadakura (Masumi Okada) hands Paul Racine (Christopher Lambert) his service weapons, which appears to be a Colt Detective Special. It just looks a little... off. IMDb lists Japan (specifically, Nagoya) and Vancouver as filming locations. IMDb also states that the train interiors, where the cap on the bottom came from, was filmed in Vancouver. Since the Timecop SMG also appears to be in the film, I'm just assuming most of the generic interior scenes, like at the hospital, were done in Vancouver, so it's probably a real gun, as opposed to a flash paper gun. --Funkychinaman 03:04, 15 July 2012 (CDT)
Maybe a Colt Pocket Positive? --Funkychinaman 15:46, 20 July 2012 (CDT)
- It looks similar to the revolver in Highlander. --Funkychinaman 16:03, 20 July 2012 (CDT)
- This sort of looks close. Apparently, it's a Colt Pequeno (?). --Funkychinaman 16:31, 20 July 2012 (CDT)
- I'm fairly certain it's a Miroku. Miroku made this revolver from the late sixties to the late eighties. It was made in both a five shot and six shot version with different barrel lengths. It was basically a copy of the Colt DA design. It was imported into the U.S. under the name Miroku Liberty Chief and possibly EIG. --Jcordell 10:41, 1 August 2012 (CDT)
- Thank you very much! --Funkychinaman 10:51, 1 August 2012 (CDT)
