Help ID the pistol
It looks very similar to a SIG but I'm unsure which specific model it is. Can anyone help? --Dan San (talk) 14:03, 2 July 2020 (EDT)
- Looks like a SIG P220 with an M1911 style slide. You could just call it a hybrid of the two. --PyramidHead (talk) 19:30, 2 July 2020 (EDT)
- The slide serrations are the only similarity I see with the 1911. --Dan San (talk) 21:00, 2 July 2020 (EDT)
- I see more of a resemblance to a 1911 because of the long, thin slide that lacks the contours and bevels of the P220. It looks to me like a M1911 slide stuck onto a P220 frame. --PyramidHead (talk) 23:34, 2 July 2020 (EDT)
- I was talking about this to another user. It's likely that the simplicity of the slide is just a byproduct of the model and texture quality, like the developers couldn't be bothered to make a fully detailed P220 slide since it's a mere prop. --Dan San (talk) 08:16, 3 July 2020 (EDT)
- If it is purely about simplicity, why have they added in a Browning Hi-Power slide stop? To me it seems that this gun is a mix of parts that have been assembled to make a generic pistol. The biggest contributor seems to be the P226 though, as the majority of the frame and the rear of the slide all look P226-ish. --commando552 (talk) 19:04, 3 July 2020 (EDT)
