Split Błyskawica?

The Błyskawica has mechanical differences from the Sten and is externally also very different. Should we split it from the page? --Wuzh (talk) 13:47, 24 January 2019 (EST)

By all means. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 20:59, 24 January 2019 (EST)
The database really didn't like having the Polish "ł" in a wikilink or as a title, and gives me an error when I try to view them. Trying to preview a direct wiki link to Błyskawica gives me:
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:
(SQL query hidden)
from within function "LinkHolderArray::replaceInternal". Database returned error "1271: Illegal mix of collations for operation ' IN ' (173.255.217.6)".
Trying to create a page with Błyskawica as a title (or trying to search the word) gives me:
A database error has occurred. Did you forget to run maintenance/update.php after upgrading? See: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Upgrading#Run_the_update_script
Query: SELECT page_id,page_namespace,page_title,page_restrictions,page_counter,page_is_redirect,page_is_new,page_random,page_touched,page_latest,page_len FROM `imfdb_page` WHERE page_namespace = '0' AND page_title = 'Błyskawica' LIMIT 1
Function: WikiPage::pageData
Error: 1267 Illegal mix of collations (latin1_bin,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '=' (173.255.217.6)
I think I remember this happening somewhere else before on IMFDB. --Wuzh (talk) 21:16, 24 January 2019 (EST)
Yeah, it occurs when you use the letter Ł. I guess you're gonna have to name the page "Blyskawica" and pipe the link to display "Błyskawica" when linking to it in other articles. --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 13:52, 25 January 2019 (EST)
