For those interested, the demo is available for XBOX 360 and the PS3.--John Ryder 11:23, 11 April 2012 (CDT)

I'm kinda amused that if you look carefully at the cover art, he's apparently trying to assassinate a V-2 missile. Evil Tim 06:10, 26 April 2012 (CDT)
Judging by the game's trophy list, that's exactly what he's trying to do - a lot of the plot revolves around V2s.--Leigh Burne 09:50, 26 April 2012 (CDT)

Grenade Sniping

In the game you can kill Germans by shooting at the grenades on their belt which then explode.

Is this plausible? Because if real life grenades could be set off by stray rounds then that just seems like an incredible liability. BreezyFresh 16:55, 26 April 2012 (GMT)

The head of a grenade is small and moves around a lot as someone moves. While it might theoretically be possible to hit it and not have the bullet glance off the curved grenade head, it'd be the kind of show-off trick shooting you wouldn't bother with in actual combat since the guy's head or heart would be a far easier and more reliable shot. Also the bullet wouldn't actually be hot enough to set off the explosive, so you'd have to somehow operate the fuze without destroying it in the process. So it's unlikely you'd hit it at all, unlikely you'd penetrate the head of the grenade even if you did, and very unlikely you'd arm the grenade with a bullet rather than just rendering it useless (basically impossible with a Stielhandgranate, in fact, since the fuze was a friction-ignition pull cord and bullets aren't noted for their ability to grab on a piece of string and pull it). Hail Mary doesn't even begin to cover it. Evil Tim 02:14, 27 April 2012 (CDT)
With a Stielhandgranate it has a TNT explosive filler which would be unlikely to detonate from impact. However it uses a friction striker in the handle which sets off a burning fuze when you pull the cord, and if you hit the striker you could potentially light the fuze. However, the size of this is about the size of the cap on a pen, and it would be by no means a sure thing that it would hit in the correct way to work, so it is not really a real life issue. --commando552 04:38, 27 April 2012 (CDT)

More Weapons

Ive been playing this for a few days and hope to get some images soon. There are several more weapons avalable. Moisin Nagant, Kar98K and SVT40 are avalable as sniper rifles (two of them require the DLC.) There is a PPSh-41 and MP40 that can be unlocked and a Colt m1911. Robm89 16:57, 09 May 2012 (GMT)

I've been trying to update the page, but i'm still early into the game.--Mercury 05:39, 24 May 2012 (CDT)
I've added some new DLC weapons, but as I don't own the game, I unfortunately cannot supply screen-shots. Jimmoy (talk) 14:59, 26 November 2012 (EST)

Wellrod

Just a small observation, but the Wellrod section identifies it as (likely) a Mk I, and yet the captions under the images label it a Mk II. Which is it?--Leigh Burne 07:37, 28 May 2012 (CDT)

Edited by someone who didn't understand formatting and didn't check the captions. It's a Mark I with the front sight in the wrong place. Evil Tim 09:43, 28 May 2012 (CDT)
