Henschel Hs 293

The Henschel Hs 293 glide bomb is featured as a plot device in the story. It is incorrectly dubbed the Fritz X which is an entirely different glide bomb.

If this is set during WWII, wouldn't the M1C Garand be anachronistic? I don't think the sniper Garands saw any use until Korea. Spartan198 (talk) 16:12, 17 May 2017 (EDT)

Yes and no. The M1C was adopted in June 1944 and production reached around 7,000, but not many were issued to soldiers. I think the game includes it to reuse assets from previous Sniper Elites, plus it's probably going "he's a member of OSS, he can get the good stuff." There's a lot of other issues too, such as the fact he's using the Welrod Mark I even though that wasn't in production until late 1944. The issue with all of this is that there is no set date for when this game is taking place. I presume it's occurring before Allied Invasion of mainland Italy, so there fore many of these guns would be anachronistic. --PaperCake 18:53, 17 May 2017 (EST)
