If these were manufactured for the US Navy, why the reference to the OSS? --Funkychinaman (talk) 07:24, 26 June 2019 (EDT)
- I'd agree that the page name should be changed (though I'm pretty sure that they were used/developed by the OSS). Honestly, I think it should be called the Sedgley Glove Gun/Pistol Glove, after the company that created them (as is the typical practice for single-manufacturer guns on this site). I don't think that that was its official designation, but then again, neither was "Panzerfaust", and it does a decent job of describing the device and who manufactured it. Thoughts? - Official designation was Hand Firing Mechanism Mk 2. The gun was created for Naval Intelligence Office, and there isn't no credible source that claim that OSS used this weapon. It is also called Sedgley Fist Gun, after the manufacturer, or Haight Fist Gun, as it was patented (Stanley Martyn Haight was US Navy Captain, so again no relation with OSS). According to this article, the gun is listed as "OSS Glove Pistol" in AFT C&R publication. --Greg-Z (talk) 10:27, 26 June 2019 (EDT)
