Talk:Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
resident-evil-umbrella-chronicles-big.jpg
I don't know who put this up, and I don't know what that means. But I created the page Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles yesterday. I'm still working on it and if anyone can help it would be appreciated. Thanks~
...Whoohoo! I've finally completed the entire gun list. Now all I need is some people to help me post pictures and add any additional info they can. :) thanks~
Devin
There's no need to do all that work; it's already been done. Go here. I'm one of the RE Wiki admins. You have my permission to use any information/images presented there (a link to us would be appreciated, but I won't demand one). My user name there is GunFreak.--141.165.143.185 06:51, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Thank you to all that have helped me so far. Now all I need are some pictures to be placed.(I can't do it do to technical reasons). Any help would be awesome. This was my first page so i'm still learning the ropes. It's a great game with a great selection of weapons taken from all games in the series. Thanks~
Devin
Thank you GunFreak but I do not like copying other sites. All of the guns I wrote down I put up from my own knowledge of the weapons I saw in the game.
I'm just saying, I have no objections if you want to pull descriptions and such. There are a few cases where the guns are heavily modified or are downright fictional, and it's much more practical to just use the information that's already out there. I can't tell you how many times I've run across the analysis of Leon's Handgun that I made for the RE wiki, and I'm happy to see it being spread around like that. Besides, your list was wrong. It looked like you had confused parts of it with the RE0 weapons list (For instance, you listed Billy's 1911-style handgun from RE0, which was not in UC).
--141.165.143.185 05:26, 3 December 2009 (UTC) I really should make an account here at some point.
BTW: To upload an image, click the sixth button in the edit toolbar.
No, I was not confused with the gun list. There is a complete RE 0 storyline recreated in the game in case you didn't know. The whole point of the game is to re-visit RE, RE 0, and RE 3 to give it a more arcade shooting 1st person feel. That is why the weapons appear from all of the RE games(along with Billy's 1911).
So, does everyone like my page so far?
You need to do more research. I've played it, but at this point I'm not sure that you have. Not all of the weapons appear. Like I said; check our wiki. We've already created a complete weapons list. The game even changes the stories (or in the case of RE3, completely rewrites it).--141.165.111.19 15:53, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
What guns have I put down that do not appear in UC?
Could someone help with shrinking the pictures?
Thanks to whoever shrinked the pictures, but the Taurus Raging Bull is still HUGE
To size a picture, add |XXXpx| into the image text. (ex. such&such.jpg|thumb|300px|description)
Also, the SIG was a P228[1] (the Pro is supposed to be the UBCS standard, but CAPCOM screwed it up), and the Magnum was an Anaconda[2] (The same kind that Barry used). --PistolJunkie 00:16, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
It's a P228, not A SIG Pro. Yes, I know it's not the UBCS handgun. The game designers messed up. It's an Anaconda, not a Taurus. Keep the images to a reasonable size. Stop undoing stuff without explaining why. --PistolJunkie 05:18, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
I've played the damn game, the gun is a SIG Pro, I don't care what your gay Resident evil Wiki says. And I'll make the pages as big as I damn want to.
What a civilized, convincing and well thought out response.--PistolJunkie 04:31, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
OK dude seriously, if you fuck with my page again i'm gonna make it so only i can edit it.
I see you're getting upset. You may want to read the Rules, Standards and Principles, Specifically Principles, Item #2. Also, I was unaware that anonymous users could lock down pages, but please, show me otherwise. Such things tend to amuse me. Normally an editing conflict would be resolved in one of two ways; cite an outside source (which I have done), or provide a screenshot. You are welcome to do either. I'm not going to be offended if proven wrong, so go for it. Also, The Game.--PistolJunkie 07:51, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
OK im sorry for getting upset, I'm just a little defensive because it is my first page. Thank you for the box art on the game, it looks alot better now.
Could someone put the game poster on the page?
What do you mean, game poster? Pump Shotty Justice
Like the front cover of the videogame or something
You mean like this? [Resident Evil:Umbrella Chronicles (2005)]
RE: Silver Ghost Inspiration; Check out the FNP9.
Page
The following weapons were used in the videogame Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.
Handguns
Beretta 92FS "Samurai Edge" Custom
This is the custom S.T.A.R.S. Beretta 92FS handgun created by The Kendo Gun Shop. It is 9mm with a standard 15 round capacity. It is used by all of the S.T.A.R.S. members in the game. In the words of Mr. Kendo "If you miss the target with this, you should carry a teething ring in your holster instead of a gun." Wesker in his parts of the game carries his further modified two-tone version (see Resident Evil 5).
"Army Handgun"
Billy Coen uses this handgun during the Resident Evil 0 segments. It's a 9mm, holds 15 rounds and is apparently standard issue for U.S. Army. The design is fictional, it is a 1911 based handgun that features a Beretta-style cutaway slide and has a short, slanted dust-cover.
SIG-Sauer P228
The SIG-Sauer P228 is used by Carlos in the "Raccoon's Destruction" segment.
Heckler & Koch VP70
The Heckler & Koch VP70 is referred to in game as "Matilda" (same as in Resident Evil 4)and is HUNK's sidearm in the scenario, "4th Survivor".
Beretta 93R
A Beretta 93R with wood grips is only available to Ada in the scenario "Death's Door". It fires in three round bursts. Called "Burst Handgun" in game.
"Silver Ghost"
This handgun, fitted with a suppressor, is used by Wesker in his chapter of the scenario "Umbrella's End". This is the same fictional handgun used in Resident Evil 4 by Leon in the main game and by Wesker during the Mercenaries mini-game. The handgun resembles a hybrid of the Heckler & Koch USP Expert and the Smith & Wesson Sigma.
Custom Taurus Raging Bull
The same custom Taurus Raging Bull from Resident Evil 0 is the first magnum found in the game. It has an incredible stopping power and can pierce through multiple targets. It is first available in the "Mansion Incident", though some cutscenes featuring Billy, such as his introduction, see him wielding this.
]
"Sporting Int. Magnum Custom Edition"
The fictional semi-auto magnum pistol manufactured by the Umbrella Corporation can be found in the game. It is chambered for the .50AE round.
Smith & Wesson Model 500
The Smith & Wesson Model 500 is the most powerful non-explosive weapon in the game. It is unlocked by finding it in HUNK's scenario "4th Survivor". To find it: In the lobby of the P.D. HUNK will glance at a door then turn away from it. If you shoot the door enough times it will break open and HUNK will explore inside. When you first go in, shoot some items over to the left, you should find it. Called "Hand Cannon" like in Resident Evil 4.
Submachine Guns
"Submachine Gun"
The first submachine gun obtained. It is the same fictional SMG from Resident Evil 0. This weapon is more or less a heavily altered Heckler & Koch MP5.
H&K MP5A2
The MP5A2 is the second submachine gun obtained. it is more powerful than the other submachine guns in the game but it has a somewhat lower ammo capacity.
Steyr TMP
The Steyr TMP is the last submachine gun found in the game. It is available at the start of the "Umbrella's End" scenario. It has a faster rate of fire than the other submachine guns in the game. It is also used by HUNK in the "4th Survivor scenario".
H&K MP5A3
Carlos wields a MP5A3 only in the cutscenes of the "Raccoon's Destruction" scenario, where it features a UMP-style skeletal folding stock and a straight magazine.
Shotguns
"Pump-Shotgun"
The basic shotgun and the first one available in the game. It is the same fictional pump-action shotgun from Resident Evil 0.
Custom Benelli M3 Super 90
This is the same custom Benelli M3 shotgun that appears in both the Resident Evil Remake and Resident Evil 4. It is the second shotgun available in the game and also the most powerful, it is found in the "Raccoon's Destruction" scenario. Called "Assault Shotgun" in-game like in the Resident Evil Remake.
Armsel Protecta
The Armsel Protecta, like in RE4 it is equipped with the advantages of wide-shot, it allows for faster firing and reloading, however, is less powerful than the other shotguns. Available in the "Umbrella's End" scenario. As with all the RE games in which its featured, the fold-down stock cannot be used.
Grenade Launchers
"Grenade Launcher"
The first grenade launcher available. It packs quite a punch. It's first available in the "Train Derailment" scenario. it is the same Hybrid grenade launcher from the Resident Evil Remake.
"Grenade Launcher AT"
This is the second grenade launcher in the game. Great for crowd control. it is the same Hybrid grenade launcher from the Resident Evil 0.
M79 Grenade Launcher
The M79 is the last and most powerful grenade launcher in the game. It is found in Ada's scenario "Death's Door".
Rocket Launchers
M202 FLASH
The M202 FLASH is the second most powerful weapon in the game. Packs an amazing power and a high capacity, the drawback is a slow reload. Called "MRL" in-game.
RPG-7
The RPG-7 has extremely limited ammunition, but is the most powerful weapon available. Unlocked after the completion of the game. Called a Anti-tank "Gun" in-game.
The Nemesis' Rocket Launcher
In the Resident Evil 3 segment, "Raccoon's Destruction". The B.O.W. (Bio Organic Weapon) Nemesis is seen using a fictional rocket launcher loosely based on the FIM-92A Stinger.
