RHS: Escalation is the name given to the ArmA III mods RHS: US Armed forces, RHS: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and the recently released RHS: Green Forces, from the developer Red Hammer Studios. The mod is known for its high detail and realism, extensive amount of features, and high-quality weapons, containing nearly every weapon, and most of the vehicles currently used by all of the US and Russian Forces, making it one of the most well known and popular mods in the ArmA series.

The Beretta M9 appears as the main sidearm of the US since version 0.4. Notably, the hammer is never shown cocked, but does move down when the slide cycles.
