You sure this is okay? The image says 'Fele Martínez holds a revolver as Sergio in Salt (Sal) (2011).' but this is not seen in your overview nor does the movie appear on IMFDB, PeeWee055 (talk) 12:01, 28 January 2015 (EST)
- Well, the actor appears in one movie but there isn't any good image of him, holding a firearm. So I googled an image of him with a gun and used as a placeholder until it could be replaced with another one (or maybe the mentioned movie would get its page). I use such practice sometimes, and I think that it doesn't violate the rules. Greg-Z (talk) 12:20, 28 January 2015 (EST)
- I see what you mean, that explains a lot. From personal experience I know exactly what you mean, and I take a different approach which I think makes somewhat more sense, even though it's still a compromise. Take Rodrigo Obregón in my latest movie Hard Hunted. He's one of the leading actors but really never do you get a clear shot of him with the revolver. So, rather than 'shopping on the internet' I take a screenshot that has a good shot of his face in the movie and forget the revolver, after all the page is about identification of the actor. I think this is less confusing, but again, still a compromise, PeeWee055 (talk) 12:44, 28 January 2015 (EST)
- Of course your method makes sense. I also use it sometimes. In case of Martínez (also Folco Lulli, Xavier Deluc, and Michael Kitchen) I tried to follow the rule "This image ... is preferred that he or she be holding a gun". Greg-Z (talk) 13:14, 28 January 2015 (EST)
