The magical 8th round from the colt
So I have noticed on a lot of pages for films and games alike, that when a 1911 is shown with an 8 round capacity or when it fires 8 and is still in battery, that people say it is a goof. Though I am confused as to why so many people overlook the 8 round magazines for 1911s that i thought were fairly common. Are 8 rounders really that rare, and even so, shouldn't we give the benefit of the doubt that the filmmakers were trying to show it this way?--One shot is all it takes.
