Where did you get that this rifle is called the 1864? Assuming you got the image form this page, it is listed as a P56, with 1864 just being the date of manufacture of this particular rifle. I think the proper name would be Enfield Pattern 1856 Cavalry Carbine (I would normally just say P56, but the full Pattern 1956 keeps it in the same format as the Enfield Pattern 1853 page). --commando552 06:53, 16 January 2012 (CST)
