Why does this show exist? There was a perfectly good Sherlock series, why did there have to be another, American one? Also, Sherlock never actually said "Elementary, my dear Watson" in any of the original books. Honestly, America.

This is actually the THIRD active Sherlock Holmes series, if you count the film series as well. How many iterations of a single character can the market simultaneously support? (And please sign your posts.) --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:45, 20 October 2012 (EDT)
Last night's episode showed the writers of the show have little to no firearms experience. Captain Gregson is seemingly able to determine the type of weapon used to shoot up Bell's car merely by looking at the bullet holes referring to the weapon as a "semi-automatic MP-5" followed by Sherlock's assertion the shooter was firing "three round bursts". But what put it over the top for me was when Sherlock mentioned the weapon had a "rifled as opposed to smoothbore barrel" indicating the shooter had access to "high level firearms augmentation ". Really guys...really??? --Charon68 (talk) 15:27, 15 February 2013 (EST)
